Four things to know:
1. SMH broke ground on the 65-acre site in April but required city approval for a zoning amendment.
2. The $437 million project is expected to be completed in two and a half years.
3. It will feature 110 private rooms and a 28-bed emergency center with a 60,000-square-foot medical office building.
4. SMH will provide a full spectrum of medical and surgical care including an intensive care unit, neurosurgery, orthopedics, gastroenterology, radiology and more.
