Physician-owned Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Specialists has broken ground on a new clinic in Oshkosh, Wis., according to a June 4 report from CBS affiliate WFRV.

The new facility is expected to open in 2026, and will provide orthopedic urgent care and same-day appointments for fractures, sprains and other orthopedic-related injuries.

The same-day model will help patients to avoid costly emergency room visits, according to the report. The clinic is located in a medical plaza near Ascension Northeast Wisconsin–Mercy Hospital.

At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
