Physician-owned Ohio group to expand spine, orthopedic facility

Crystal Clinic Orthopaedic Center is expanding its Kent, Ohio, facility to accommodate new services.

Four things to know:

1. The expansion will enable the facility to provide urgent care services. Additional spaces for physical and occupational therapy will be added, along with new exam rooms and an updated clinic.

2. The Akron, Ohio-based group has 12 locations and provides the full spectrum of spine and orthopedic care.

3. CCOC has 42 physicians, including five spine surgeons, according to its website.

4. The group performs more than 17,000 surgeries annually.
