Pennsylvania rehab network plans 75-bed hospital for spinal cord injury

Allentown, Pa.-based Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network aims to build a 75-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital for patients with neurological conditions in Center Valley, Pa., Tnonline.com reports.

The 123,000-square-foot center will provide physical rehab for patients recovering from spinal cord injuries, brain injuries and stroke, among other conditions.

Hospital services will include physical and occupational therapy, nursing, imaging and clinical psychology.

Construction is expected to take two years. The cost of the facility has not been determined.
