Laser spine surgery uses light beams to create incisions and is recommended for patients with chronic pain where fusion isn’t the main treatment option, multiple affected vertebrae and those who don’t need surrounding tissue manipulated.

The technique is an outpatient procedure, allows for quicker recovery and lowers overall costs.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
