PE company acquires Illinois orthopedic practice

Cora Physical Therapy acquired Rockford, Ill.-based Orthopedic and Sports Therapy Institute, expanding its portfolio by six practices, PE Hub reports.

OSTI was founded in 1999. It operates six phsical therapy practices in Illinois in Rockford, Belvidere, Marengo, Ogle County, Poplar Grove and Sauk Valley.

CORA Physical Therapy President and CEO Dennis Smith said the practice will broaden the group’s Midwestern footprint. He added, “Our partnership provides the means for further growth as we deliver personalized care with respect and consideration for our patients’ needs.”
