PE-backed US Orthopedic Alliance, Allscripts partner to help practices grow

Allscripts Healthcare Solutions on Jan. 26 teamed with private equity-backed U.S. Orthopedic Alliance to support growth initiatives with orthopedic practices nationwide.

The partnership aims to help orthopedic practices:

  • Scale with agility
  • Facilitate EHR installation
  • Provide evidence-based guidelines to support clinical protocols
  • Create communitywide connectivity with value-based care analytics

The partnership offers assistance for “orthopedic practitioners that want to access health information technology solutions only the largest health systems could afford,” Leah Jones, senior vice president and general manager of Allscripts’ ambulatory business unit, said in a news release.

Lake Forest, Calif.-based U.S. Orthopedic Alliance provides management services for more than 100 orthopedic surgeons, 12 ASCs and one specialty hospital. Services include revenue cycle management, contracting, risk management and value-based care guidance through infrastructure, technology and data analytics.
