Westerville-based Central Ohio Primary Care and orthopedic management organization OrthoAlliance have entered into a value-based partnership to bring orthopedic care to Central Ohio. 

West Covina, Calif.-based Samimi Orthopedic Group partnered with Azra Care to automate workflows, according to an Oct. 25 news release.

Canfield, Ohio-based Youngstown Orthopaedic Associates has opened a $14 million medical office building in Boardman, Ohio, according to an Oct. 21 report from The Business Journal.

Atlanta-based Piedmont Orthopedics/OrthoAtlanta has opened a new location in Evans, Ga., in the Piedmont August medical office building. 

The Atlanta-based Northside Hospital network has added a spine and pain specialty practice, now called Northside Interventional Pain and Spine Care. 

Here are three hospitals buying stake in orthopedics centers in 2023:

Sioux Falls, S.D.-based Orthopedic Institute has started construction on a two-story, 70,000-square-foot building in Tea, S.D., according to an Oct. 19 report from Sioux Falls Business. 

Pittsburgh, Pa.-based Allegheny Health Network, Highmark and St. Vincent have announced a project to bring a $7 million orthopedic and sports medicine complex to Erie, Pa., according to an Oct. 18 report from local news network WJET.

Orthopedic Care Partners affiliated with George Paletta, MD, and Steven Stahle, MD, and announced the formation of the Performance Sports Medicine Institute in Kirkwood, Mo., according to an Oct. 19 news release.
