Physician Partners of America acquired M.I. Spine and Joint Care, a practice based in Prosper, Texas, according to an Oct. 24 news release.

Charlotte, N.C.-based OrthoCarolina has acquired Matthews Surgery Center, also in Charlotte, from Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Novant Health.
