Orthopedic management services organization OrthoAlliance has opened two satellite offices in Zanesville and Gahanna, Ohio. 

Although private equity is a debated topic in orthopedic private practice, some leaders believe it can be a viable option as long as the right people are involved.

Mercy Springfield (Mo.) has opened its first orthopedic walk-in clinic on the hospital system’s main campus, according to an Oct. 3 report from the Springfield Daily Citizen.

Durham, N.C.-based EmergeOrtho is updating patients on office hours and any effects on operations in the wake of Hurricane Helene, the group said in a Sept. 29 LinkedIn post. 

Albany, N.Y.-based Bone & Joint Center promoted director of operations Tracy Lis to chief operating officer.
