The goal of the joint partnership is to elevate orthopedic care by integrating leadership and resources, with a focus on total joint care and surgery and spine surgery, according to a July 16 news release from OSF HealthCare.

The clinic will add spine expert Steven Fineberg, MD, who will begin accepting patients Aug. 13, and James Buschbach, MD, who will begin accepting patients Sept. 19.

OrthoMidwest launched in 2023 when Chicago-based Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush and Rockford-based OrthoIllinois aggregated as a group.

The OSF Medical Group-Orthopedics office will be in Oak Lawn, Ill., according to the release.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
