Orthopedist Dr. Douglas Abbott Joins Columbia Memorial Hospital in Oregon

Douglas Abbott, MD, recently joined Columbia Memorial Hospital in Astoria, Ore., as an orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine according to a CMH news release.

Originally from Coos Bay, Ore., Dr. Abbott has been a practicing orthopedist for nine years. He earned his medical degree at the University of California at San Diego and completed additional training at the University of Southern California and The Sports Clinic in Laguna Hills, Calif.

Dr. Abbott is skilled in arthroscopy and performs almost all shoulder and knee reconstructive procedures through minimally invasive methods.
