Orthopedic surgeon opens robotic joint replacement practice in California

Farzin Kabaei, MD, opened his new practice, Los Angeles-based Robotic Hip and Knee Replacement LA.

The center offers hip and knee replacements, along with joint pain management and interventional medicine, according to a March 9 announcement. Robot-assisted joint replacements are offered with Stryker’s Mako robot.

Dr. Kabaei is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip, knee and shoulder disorders. He earned his medical degree from New York City-based Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed fellowship training at Los Angeles-based Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
