Orthopedic surgeon opens clinic in Hawaii

Zachary Thielen, MD, opened an orthopedic clinic in Wailuku, Hawaii, Maui Now reported Oct. 10.

Dr. Thielen has worked as an orthopedic surgeon in Maui for three years. The clinic, Maui Orthopedic Institute, is family-owned; his wife, Annie, is business manager.

Maui Orthopedic Institute specializes in hip and knee replacements, including outpatient surgery. Dr. Thielen also treats injuries including fractures, sprains and arthritis.
