Here are four things to know:
1. Dr. Botimer previously served as COO and head of the division of arthroplasty at Loma Linda (Calif.) University. “I had the privilege of building the orthopedic group at the university to three times the size and built a clinic,” he said.
2. Dr. Botimer specializes in complex lower extremity joint reconstruction and is experienced in treating complex failed total joints. He researches and performs novel treatment methods for infected failed total joints.
3. He practiced for 25 years with Saltzer Medical Group in Nampa, Idaho. Dr. Botimer received his medical degree from Loma Linda University.
4. At St. Luke’s Nampa Medical Center, Dr. Botimer practices alongside his daughter Krysten Bell, MD, who is also a pediatric orthopedic surgeon who received her medical degree from Loma Linda.
