Dr. Essis was a surgeon at Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster (Pa.). He specialized in joint replacement, orthopedic trauma and sports medicine.
After earning his medical degree from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine Hershey, Dr. Essis completed his residency at Penn State Milton Hershey (Pa.) Medical Center. He went on to joining Orthopedic Associates of Lancaster after completing his residency.
Board certified in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Essis was a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Arthroscopy Association of North America and Pennsylvania Orthopedic Society.
