Orthopedic rehab center to open in Tennessee: 3 things to know

The Orthopaedic Rehab Center in Chattanooga is set to open on the campus of The Health Center at Standifer Place on June 17, reports The Chattanoogan.

Three things to know:

1. The facility will focus exclusively on patients recovering from total knee or hip joint replacement surgery.

2. Therapy treatments by specialized therapists will be available at the center seven days a week.

3. Orthopedic surgeon and medical director at ORC, Michael Tew, MD, said the facility is designed to “get the most out of a short inpatient rehab stay and make the transition home successful.”
