Orthopedic practice breaks ground on new office — 3 things to know

Peabody, Mass.-based Sports Medicine North broke ground Sept. 1 on an office in Newburyport, Mass.

Three things to know:

1. The 20,000-square-foot orthopedic office is slated to open in the spring of 2021 with 14 exam rooms, two procedure rooms, a casting room and a large physical therapy space.

2. A groundbreaking ceremony for the new office was attended by shoulder and knee surgeons David Fehnel, MD, and Steven Mattheos, MD, as well as hip and knee reconstruction specialist Hugh O’Flynn, MD, and hip, shoulder, knee, sports medicine and trauma specialist Bojan Zoric, MD.

3. With a team of 17 physicians, Sports Medicine North has orthopedic and physical therapy locations in Peabody, Newburyport and Beverly, Mass. It has an additional physical therapy location in Wenham, Mass.
