An 80,000-square-foot, multimillion-dollar facility is in the final stages of development. While the institute has treated patients at its Avera McKennan campus for 20 years, demand for orthopedic services in the area has grown, forcing the practice to search for a larger space.

Construction on the Tea facility began 15 months ago and will allow all orthopedic services to take place under one roof.

There will be advanced imaging resources available and therapy sessions can be conducted there as well. Orthopedic Institute will begin seeing patients at the new facility Feb. 10.
