Orthopaedic Institute of Ohio boosts spine, orthopedic care at local hospital

Lima-based Orthopaedic Institute of Ohio is expanding services at Mary Rutan Hospital Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in Bellefontaine, Ohio, according to a July 15 Bellefontaine Examiner report.

Three things to know:

1. The partnership has added three orthopedic surgeons to the hospital’s two-surgeon orthopedic team.

2. Spine surgeon Frank Fumich, MD, trauma surgeon Steven Haman, MD, and hand specialist Jason Anane-Sefah, MD, are now performing surgeries at Mary Rutan Hospital.

3. Orthopaedic Institute of Ohio is a 25-physician practice with 12 locations, according to its website.
