Orthopaedic Institute for Children opens cornerstone of $20M project: 3 notes

Orthopaedic Institute for Children in Los Angeles re-opened its medical pavilion after it spent 18 months under construction.

Three things to know:

1. The pavilion is considered the centerpiece of the Institute’s “Vision for Our Future” campaign, which raised $20 million to develop facilities and purchase orthopedic equipment.

2. Over the summer, OIC opened its pediatric orthopedic urgent care center for patients with musculoskeletal injuries and conditions.

3. More recently, it also opened The Ahmanson Foundation Fracture Center, a pediatric fracture clinic, as well as a rehabilitation center and radiology center.
