Indianapolis-based OrthoIndy appointed Caroline Jarrell as chief information officer.
Ms. Jarrell began her role Jan. 5, and she has more than 15 years of experience, according to a Jan. 20 news release shared with Becker’s. At OrthoIndy she will support the practice’s technology infrastructure and partner with clinical and operations leaders.
Previously she was director of information services at Riverview Health. She also held IT leadership roles at Ladd Memorial Hospital/Osceola (Wis.) Medical Center and The South Bend (Ind.) Clinic.
“Technology plays a critical role in how we care for patients and support our physicians and staff,” Matthew Lavery, MD, OrthoIndy’s CEO, said in the release. “With her extensive experience in healthcare IT, Caroline will help ensure our technology infrastructure continues to support seamless orthopedic care for patients across all settings. She will also partner closely with our clinical and operational leaders to thoughtfully streamline and optimize how our teams interact with technology.”
