The practices will continue to operate under their current names and locations, according to a news release shared with Becker’s on March 20. The partnership expands OrthoCincy’s reach into the Louisville area.
“We’ve worked on the details of this for several months,” David Rhoads, MD, a surgeon at Ortho Louisville, said in the release. “Our cumulative resources, physicians and support staff will allow for better experiences and more complete care options for our patients.”
OrthoCincy has 45 physicians across 13 locations. Ortho Louisville has five physicians.
At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
