OrthoCarolina to test scheduling platform — 3 insights

OrthoCarolina’s Winston-Salem, N.C., locations will pilot Radix Health’s new patient scheduling platform, the Triad Business Journal reports.

1. The platform will be implemented in several phases with a March 2020 completion date.

2. OrthoCarolina is hoping the new platform will increase patient volumes and decrease the practice’s missed appointment rate.

3. OrthoCarolina opted to use its Winston-Salem practices because most of its patients only visit OrthoCarolina offices in that region, where in other regions patients frequently travel for care.
