OrthoCarolina Merges With Scotland Orthopedics

OrthoCarolina, an orthopedic practice based in Charlotte, N.C., merged with Scotland Orthopedics based in Laurinburg, N.C., to become OrthoCarolina Scotland, according to a Charlotte Business Journal report.

Under the agreement, Scotland Orthopedics’ offices will be added to the Laurinburg, Pembroke and Bennettsville, S.C., OrthoCarolina locations. OrthoCarolina Scotland will offer sports medicine, arthroscopic surgery, total joint replacement, hand-and-foot surgery, fracture care, computer assisted surgery and osteoporosis evaluation and treatment.
