OrthoCarolina Merges With NorthEast Orthopedics

OrthoCarolina, based in Charlotte, N.C., recently merged with NorthEast Orthopedics, based in Concord, N.C., according to an OrthoCarolina news release.

The merger with NorthEast Orthopedics, now called OrthoCarolina Concord, marks the third practice to merge with OrthoCarolina since Oct. 2010. The nine formerly NorthEast Orthopedics physicians will continue to practice at the Concord location and include specialists in foot and ankle, hand, spine and sports medicine care.

OrthoCarolina now includes 94 physicians and 20 office locations throughout the Carolinas.
