Ohio hospital maintains hip and knee replacement certification

Trumbull Regional Medical Center in Warren, Ohio, was reaccredited by The Joint Commission for advanced total hip and knee replacement, local news affiliate WEMJ reported May 13.

The hospital went through a rigorous review of its program from management to patient outcomes and satisfaction. The Gold Seal reflects a healthcare organization’s commitment to safe and quality care.

Trumbull Regional Medical Center was the first hospital in Ohio to get The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval for Advanced Total Hip and Knee Replacement Certification in 2016. It’s the second in the country to mark the milestone.
