Ohio health system spends $2.5M on building to cement presence in community

Dayton, Ohio-based Kettering Health Network forked out $2.5 million for a property in Springfield, Ohio, last month, reports Springfield News-Sun.

Four things to know:

1. It purchased the building that houses KHN’s Springfield (Ohio) Health Center, which was previously owned by Springfield Professional Suites.

2. The health system leased the property in 2017 after the previous occupant — Crystal Clear Imaging — closed.

3. The clinic initially offered imaging and primary care services but recently added orthopedic, heart and vascular care.

4. KHN will not expand the Springfield clinic but plans to further its reach in the community soon.
