NYU Langone to add spine surgery at new outpatient center: 5 points

New York City-based NYU Langone Health launched the phased opening of a new multispecialty outpatient facility in New York City.

Here are five points:

1. The building is 55,000 square-feet and will eventually spans three floors to include 30 exam rooms.

2. NYU Langone expects physicians at the outpatient center to care for more than 300 patients daily.

3. The new outpatient center is also equipped with four operating rooms for orthopedic surgery, a foot and ankle care center and a women’s sports medicine center.

4. NYU Langone already has plans to add spine surgery and rheumatology services in August.

5. As of July 2, the following specialties will be available at the outpatient center:

• Addiction medicine
• Cardiology
• Foot and ankle care
• Orthopedics
• Pain medicine
• Podiatry
• Primary care
• Sports medicine
