It has added 23 providers and four new practices in the region, including its first location in Stony Brook, N.Y. The other new practices are in Patchogue, Riverhead and Hauppauge, according to an Aug. 9 press release.

The new providers include 11 physicians, seven physician assistants, four physical therapists and an occupational therapist.

NYU Langone has also joined forces with Advanced Orthopedics, which added three of the new sites to NYU Langone’s network.

New orthopedic providers joining NYU include shoulder, knee and hip specialist Richard Savino, MD, and hand surgery specialist Andrew Leo, MD.

At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
