Novant Health opens spine clinic

Novant Health has opened a spine clinic in High Point, N.C., that offers nonsurgical treatments and pain management therapies, the Triad Business Journal reported July 18.

Three notes:

1. The clinic will be staffed by anesthesiologist Anuj Shah, MD, and Christine Zdeb, MSN, an adult gerontology nurse practitioner specializing in pain management. 

2. Treatment plans at Novant Health Spine Specialists include minimally invasive procedures, pain management injections and referrals for rehabilitation therapy.

3. The clinic will be open Tuesdays through Thursdays.
