Novant Health adds 11-physician spine practice

Mount Pleasant, S.C.-based Southeastern Spine Institute joined Winston-Salem, N.C.-based  Novant Health.

SSI has served patients for more than 30 years. It became part of Novant Health on Jan. 1, according to a Jan. 6 news release shared with Becker’s. The practice is located on Novant East Cooper Medical Center campus in Mount Pleasant.

“This affiliation begins an exciting new chapter for our team and patients,” Steven Poletti, MD, spine surgeon and founder of SSI, said in the release. “Partnering with Novant Health enables us to enhance the scope and accessibility of our services, bringing innovative and comprehensive spine care to even more patients.”

SSI has 11 physicians, according to its website.
