Novant Health acquires Carolina Family Practice & Sports Medicine

Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Novant Health has acquired Raleigh, N.C.-based Carolina Family Practice & Sports Medicine, which has multiple locations in the area, according to a Jan. 15 report from Triangle Business Journal.

Novant will expand its presence in the Raleigh area, where it already has two clinics and plans for a new hospital.

Carolina Family has 15 clinicians and three locations in the state in Cary, Holly Springs and Raleigh, operating a sports medicine program offering treatment for musculoskeletal injuries. It also houses the Carolina Sports Concussion Clinic.
