North Carolina health system opens new spine center, expands care to outpatient setting

The Novant Health Neurosciences and Spine Center in Winston-Salem, N.C., opened Dec. 4, according to Triad Business Journal.

Three things to know:

1. The Winston-Salem, N.C.-based health system moved several clinics to the new facility including Novant Health Brain and Spine, Novant Health Spine Specialists and Novant Health Stroke Bridge Clinic.

2. The 58,000-square-foot facility enables Novant Health to expand its multidisciplinary care to the outpatient setting.

3. Novant Health was founded in 1997 and features more than 1,200 physicians and 14 hospitals, according to its website.
