1. When the bundle was announced in 2017, Steve Lucey, MD, anticipated the ASC would perform 200 total joints in the first year.
2. According to Dr. Lucey, payers are interested in the bundle if surgeons can save 15 percent to 20 percent per case.
3. The 61,000-square-foot ASC has 13 operating rooms and two procedure rooms. The multispecialty ASC serves 16,000 patients annually.
