IMAC Holdings reports slight revenue increase in Q3: 4 notes

Brentwood, Tenn.-based IMAC Holdings saw a slight increase in third-quarter revenue year over year, according to financial results posted Nov. 10.

Four things to know:

1. Third quarter-revenue was $3.49 million, compared to $3.48 million in the same period last year.

2. Total patient visits at IMAC centers were up 10 percent to 43,451 compared with the third quarter of 2020.

3. Spikes in the delta variant of COVID-19 negatively affected patient visits in western Kentucky. Despite the increase in total visits for IMAC centers nationwide, that area saw a decline of 1,900 patient visits for the quarter compared with 2020.

4. Corporate highlights include the acquisition of Baton Rouge-based Louisiana Orthopaedic & Sports Rehab Institute and launching a toll-free hotline for patients with acute sports and work-related injuries to schedule appointments.
