New York Orthopedic Groups Merge to Form OrthoNY

Two large physician groups in New York have merged to form OrthoNY, according to a report from The Business Review.

Northeast Orthopaedics and Orthopaedic Associates of Saratoga have merged into one practice, combining 27 physicians and seven office locations, according to the report. The merger was spurred by healthcare reform changes and new reimbursement models, said practice CEO Alan Okun in the report.
