President and CEO Tom Carman said the hospital performs more than 900 orthopedic surgeries a year. The new practice will help increase the number of procedures it can perform.
Scott Mollison, MD, a sports medicine specialist who joined Samaritan in 2019, will lead the practice.
The hospital provides care for several other specialties, including general and vascular surgery, gastroenterology, plastic surgery and urology.
