New orthopedic and sports medicine clinic opens in Tennessee — 3 details

Holston Medical Group opened the HMG Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Clinic in Bristol, Tenn., as part of an effort to bring quality, cost-effective orthopedic and sports care to the city, reports WJHL.

Three details:

1. The physician-owned clinic provides walk-in access to orthopedic and sports medicine providers as well as outpatient care and physical therapy.

2. Orthopedic physician assistant Brian E. Scardo, PA-C, has joined the HMG team which includes Lindsay Remy, MD, a sports orthopedic surgeon; Ashraf Youssef, MD, an orthopedic hand surgeon; and Emily Campbell, MD, a sports medicine physician.

3. The facility offers minimally invasive techniques, orthopedic bracing and splinting, on-site physical therapy and casting, and neuropsychological concussion testing and treatment among other services.
