Montana’s St. Vincent Healthcare to Build $8.2M Orthopedic Center of Excellence

St. Vincent Healthcare in Billings, Mont., will renovate and expand its current orthopedic unit to create an $8.2 million Orthopedic Center of Excellence, according to a Billings Gazette report.

Construction will begin in November and is expected to be completed in early 2013. The facility will include a new Joint Replacement Center, patient rooms nearly double the size of current rooms, more strategically placed nurse stations and more user-friendly physical therapy rooms.

St. Vincent Healthcare will pay for the project with approximately $6.2 million from its 2011 capital budget and aims to raise donations to the St. Vincent Healthcare Foundation to cover the remaining $2 million.
