The mobile service is housed in a 26-foot van and is equipped to visit worksites, public offices and other locations in the region. On its first day on the road, the two neurosurgeons saw patients at Islip Town Hall.

“The launch of NSPC Mobile was driven, in part, to accommodate patients who might be reluctant to visit a medical office because of COVID-19 concerns,” the practice’s president, William Sonstein, MD, said in the report.

At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
