The surgery center received the Blue Distinction Center+ designation after it earned the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care’s Advanced Orthopedic Certification in Total Joint Replacements and Complex Spine Procedures.
The distinction was previously only available to hospitals. Blue Cross Blue Shield awards the honor to centers that have demonstrated improved quality and outcomes for patients.
