Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush completes newest center: 5 insights

Construction on the newest 100,000-square-foot Rush Oak Brook (Ill.) Orthopaedic Center is finished, according to RE Journals.

Five insights:

1. The project was a joint venture between Rush University Medical Center and Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush, both based in Chicago.

2. The three-story medical building accommodates 17 specialties with outpatient surgery suites, more than 65 exam rooms and a full imaging center.

3. Rush Oak Brook Orthopaedic Center will comprise about 100 employees and specialists.

4. Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush will occupy the first floor, including 16 patient exam rooms, a cast room and more.

5. The second floor features seven procedure rooms and 50 patient exam rooms. An outpatient suite is on the third floor.
