Physicians at the Wichita, Kan.-based group will provide in-office procedures and onsite surgeries at the hospital.

Services will include outpatient joint replacements, both from a robotic-assisted and traditional perspective, including surgeries of the knee, hip and shoulder.

Providence Medical Center recently installed the Cori robot, Smith+Nephew’s hand-held system that uses artificial intelligence to assist surgeons with knee replacements.

Mid-America Orthopedics surgeons who will be seeing patients at the hospital are: Everett Wilkinson, DO, Christopher Eckland, DO, and Michael Dempewolf, DO.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
