Dr. Szymczak specializes in adult and pediatric neurosurgery with a particular interest in endoscopic surgery, tethered cord as well as brain and spine tumors.
He graduated from the University of Alberta in Edmonton in Alberta, Canada.
Following medical school, he completed a residency at the University of Western Ontario in London, Canada, and a fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.
Dr. Szymczak will see patients at Mercyhealth Brain and Spine Center in Rockford, Ill.
