The CSO will report to CEO Mark Vorherr and lead the development of programs and services at Mayfield, according to an Oct. 26 news release. The role will also focus on long-term market trends, manage Mayfield’s approach to innovation in patient care and oversee several teams.
“During its 84-year history, Mayfield has earned its stature as one of the nation’s leading independent neurosurgery practices through clinical innovation, education and research,” Mr. Vorherr said in a news release. “As we continue to create new ways to serve our patients, our new chief strategy officer will play a pivotal role in planning, growth and development.”
