Mass General Brigham opens sports medicine, orthopedic walk-in facility

Boston-based Mass General Brigham has opened a 14,000-square-foot sports medicine and orthopedic walk-in center.

Mass General Brigham Sports Medicine at Boston Landing celebrated its ribbon-cutting Feb. 6. The center aims to care for all types of athletes, from recreational to elite, according to a Feb. 6 news release. 

The center will house the Mass General Brigham National Running Center, which is led by Adam Tenforde, MD. 

In addition to an orthopedic walk-in, the facility houses a sports medicine medical clinic, sports physical therapy, sports concussion care, sports nutrition counseling, sports cardiology and the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of running injuries.
