The clinic signals a continued growth in orthopedic services in the region, becoming LAOSS’ eighth clinic in the Los Angeles area and the practice’s first de novo facility, according to a July 13 press release.
“Since LAOSS first opened in 2006, our primary goal has been to provide each patient with the highest standard of orthopedic care and to make that excellent care available across Los Angeles. This clinic allows us to expand our reach to those patients needing access to orthopedic care in Southeast Los Angeles, and we’re grateful for the opportunity,” said Kevin Pelton, MD, president of the practice, in the release.
At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
