Lee’s Summit Medical Center builds new floor housing orthopedic facility: 3 notes

Lee’s Summit (Mo.) Medical Center is adding another floor, according to Lee’s Summit Journal.

Here are three notes:

 

1. The $20 million expansion will add an additional floor, which will house orthopedics, cardiovascular surgery, patient beds and physical therapy services.

 

2. Lee’s Summit Medical Center also has plans to construct a $20 million outpatient center.

 

3. The medical center employs 617 and donated more than $33,000 to civic organizations in 2016.
