Laser Spine Institute named finalist for quality improvement award

The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care listed Laser Spine Surgery Center in Tampa, Fla., as a finalist for its 2018-19 Bernard A. Kershner Innovations in Quality Improvement Award, according to the Missourian.

The award recognizes AAAHC-accredited facilities that have made significant strides toward improving quality care.

Spanning more than 70,000-square-feet, the Laser Spine Institute features 10 surgical suites and 32 exam rooms to treat patients with spine conditions.

Other finalists include Knoxville (Tenn.) Ophthalmology ASC and CSA Surgical Center in Columbia, Mo.
